Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Dyal, including the website at dyal.app, any subdomains, and any related applications or services operated by Articalsteam (“Dyal”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who can use Dyal

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using Dyal you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you use Dyal on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Accounts

When you create an account you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

We use Firebase Authentication to handle sign-in. By signing up you also agree to Firebase’s terms and privacy practices as published by Google LLC.

3. Roles on the platform

Dyal connects two types of users: creators (people offering content or services) and advertisers (brands or individuals commissioning that work). You pick a role at sign-up. Each role is governed by additional rules described in the relevant sections below.

4. Campaigns, services, and orders

An advertisermay post a campaign or browse a creator’s services. When the two parties agree to work together, the advertiser funds the work through Dyal’s escrow system. Funds are held by Dyal until the agreed deliverables are submitted and accepted according to the platform’s review flow.

A creator agrees to deliver the work described in the campaign brief or service listing. Submitting work for review constitutes confirmation that you have the right to deliver it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Fees

Dyal charges a service fee on each completed transaction. The exact percentage is shown to both parties before an order is funded. Payment processing fees charged by our payment partners (e.g. Flutterwave) are passed through at cost and disclosed at checkout. We may change our fees at any time; the change will not apply to transactions that were funded before the change took effect.

6. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks

If a deliverable does not match the agreed brief, either party may open a dispute from the order page. Dyal’s support team will review the dispute and may issue a full or partial refund from escrow. Chargebacks initiated outside the platform after a deliverable has been accepted may result in account suspension.

7. Content and conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
• Infringe any third-party intellectual-property rights, including music, video, and image rights.
• Circumvent the platform to transact outside Dyal after matching here (“off-platform leakage”), or solicit other users to do so.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the platform except as we explicitly allow.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or pose a risk to other users. Where possible we will give you notice and an opportunity to respond. Terminated users forfeit any in-flight earnings held in escrow pending the outcome of any open dispute.

9. Intellectual property

The Dyal name, logo, and the platform itself are owned by Articalsteam and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create; by posting it on Dyal you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the service.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Dyal is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do we will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of Dyal after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
